Alexander Patton

Alexander is a transport cyber security specialist with 8 years’ experience in the transport industry, including 6 years’ experience in critical infrastructure security. He previously served as a cyber security lead for high-profile UK rail projects including the East Coast Digital Programme, Deep Tube Upgrade Programme and High Speed 2. He now advises governments on transport security regulation and oversight, helps transport operators identify and assess critical systems, and builds security maturity within the supply chain. Most recently, he authored cyber security guidance for the Manual for Smart Streets, aiming to help UK local authorities build their security posture as connected road infrastructure becomes widespread.
